DebateBase – AI-Powered Debate Platform
DebateBase is an AI-driven debate platform created to make discussions more structured, fair, and engaging. With intelligent agents for validating motions, suggesting topics, managing citations, and summarizing arguments, it empowers users to focus on meaningful debates while AI handles the heavy lifting. In an age of polarization and degraded discourse DebateBase encourages critical thinking and healthier conversations.

Traditional debate platforms lacked intelligent moderation, structured argument validation,and tools for managing citations and summaries. Users struggled to organize debates effectively, which led to poor-quality discussions and limited engagement.

We built DebateBase with integrated AI agents including Category Validator, Motion Validator, Citation Validator, and Debate Summarizer. A token bank system was introduced to track AI interactions per user, ensuring structured, seamless debate participation.

DebateBase provided a more organized and engaging experience. Citations became reliable,debates were intelligently summarized, and new topics were suggested with ease. This improved debate quality, reduced moderator workload, and significantly boosted user engagement.
